About ICCRA North America

The ICCRA North America Chapter serves critical control room professionals across America and Canada. We are a practitioner-led community, connected to the global ICCRA network but focused on the specific challenges, regulatory environment, and sector landscape of our region.

Our chapter runs its own events programme, regional content, and engagement activity – alongside participation in the global World Congress and ICCRA’s wider initiatives. Members of the North America Chapter are also full members of the global ICCRA network.

Chapter Leadership

The ICCRA North America Board is a volunteer-led group of experienced professionals  drawn from across the critical control room community.

Our Region

North America’s critical control rooms operate within a complex federal and state regulatory environment, with significant variation in practice, technology, and standards across public safety, utilities, transportation, and infrastructure sectors. The ICCRA North America Chapter gives practitioners a sector-neutral platform to address shared challenges and advance common standards.

We work across emergency services, utilities, transport networks, aviation, and critical infrastructure, with particular focus on the challenges common to control room professionals regardless of their sector.

ICCRA Global

The North America Chapter is part of ICCRA’s global network. All members of the North America Chapter have access to ICCRA’s global resources, the annual World Congress, and the broader international peer community. Global standards and the four focus areas – People and Performance, Operations, Environment and Ergonomics, and Technology – underpin everything we do.
